Kimberly “Kimmie” Kay Blair, 42, of Du Bois, Nebraska promoted to glory on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Pawnee County Hospital in Pawnee City, Nebraska. She was born on September 6, 1974 to Albert Edward and Marilyn (Stoll) Blair in Omaha, Nebraska.
If you were blessed to know or have met Kimberly Blair, than you were blessed indeed and had a friend for life. She was known as Tinker Toy by her beloved father.
Kimmie was a loving and happy person and a joy to be around. She loved her beanie babies, bead work, crafts, making pot holders and listening and playing music. Her “children” were her numerous pets and beanie babies. Kimmie was a Soldier of the Salvation Army.
She was preceded in death by her father Big Al Blair, sister, Jane Tangeman and brother Jim Blair.
Kimmie is survived by her mother Marilyn Blair of Du Bois, NE, sisters & brothers: Jeanet (Rod) Knaak, John (Kathy) Blair, Jack (Joan) Blair, Erika (Jerry) Latimer, Monika (Matt) Brady, Veronica (Ken) Barker and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved very much.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska. with Lieutenants Joseph and Rachel Irving officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Register book available for signing on Monday, August 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City, NE. Inurnment: Du Bois Cemetery, Du Bois, Nebraska.
