Jim L Morehead

James "Jim" Morehead, 57 of Pawnee City, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 in Pawnee City, Nebraska. He was born on May 10, 1960 in Pawnee City, Nebraska to James R. & Doris (Wilcox) Morehead.  Jim grew up in Pawnee City and graduated from Pawnee City High School in 1978. He lived in Pawnee City and raised his family.  He was a member of the Pawnee City Volunteer Fire Department . Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and being a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curly and Doris Morehead and infant daughter, Michelle Morehead.

Jim is survived by his daughter and family; Jill Zabokrtsky (Shawn), grandsons, Xavier and Griffin, daughter and family, Natalie Morehead and fiancé Kip, grandson, Braden and granddaughter, KyBri, son; Justin Morehead and girlfriend, Bobby and grandson Blaze.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church/First Christian Church in Pawnee City, Nebraska with Reverend Duane Westing officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Interment at the Pawnee City Cemetery, Pawnee City, Nebraska.
