Frances Pauline (Moller) McCoy was born May 7, 1921 to John and Mae (Keithley) Moller at her home near Cook, Nebraska.  She was baptized and confirmed at an early age.  Frances attended rural elementary school near Talmage until her family moved to Tecumseh and she graduated from Tecumseh High School.

She was united in marriage to Glen E. McCoy on September 7, 1938 in Kansas.  To this union two children were born, Glen McCoy, Jr and Janice. She and Glen lived in the Tecumseh area their entire married life.

Frances and her husband Glen worked at the Campbell Soup Company for well over 25 years.  They also loved to travel.  She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska. Frances was on a bowling league from the time the Tecumseh Bowling Alley was built until she was 90 years old and also belonged to a pinochle card club for well over 40 years.  She was a very, giving, independent person.  She was known for her made from scratch pies.  Frances always made her crusts from lard, her favorite pies to make were cherry (with cherries from her own tree), pecan, gooseberry, apple, peach, raisin cream, lemon meringue—you name it—she made it!  She sewed and embroidered and loved to garden.  She was known for her long rows of various colors of peonies in her yard.  Many people would come to her home around Memorial Day and get some peonies to put on graves.  In 1965, Glen and Frances built a new home on old highway 50.  Glen passed away on May 18, 1989 and Frances continued to live there and take care of the home and yard until she moved to Ridgeview Towers in the fall of 2010 and later transferred to Belle Terrace.

Frances passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh at the age of 96 years.

She is survived by her children, Glen McCoy, Jr and wife Louise of Galena, MO and Janice K. Lenga and husband Mark of Loveland, CO, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Bonnie Schiebur of Sterling, sisters in law, Betty Moller and Marilyn Brennan and many nieces and nephews.
