Don and family:

I was so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. Please know that you have my deepest sympathy and I will keep you in my prayers for God's healing comfort. I read Merleen's obituary, and though I didn't know her, I felt I did from reading it. She sounds like a wonderful blessing to her family and all who knew her.

Don/Sharon/Steve/Randy - I have so many fond memories of Merleen. It was always exciting to get to come up to the farm. And, Merleen always made me feel right at home - loved me like her own kids, fed me oh so well.....and scolded me when I needed it! LOL

She lived a good life and I know you will miss her, but I'm sure she is at peace.

My Aunt Merleen was the best... I've got such great memories of spending time with Sharon, Steve and Randy on the farm and around Tecumseh and returning to their home to face a warm smile and more food than could be imagined. Merleen raised more kids than just her own and was always willing to spend time with those in need (she even tought my city-girl wife how to peel a bag of potatoes). I'll miss her warmth and her smile.

Uncle Don, Sharon, Steve and Randy... I'm sorry for the hurt you must be feeling and the loss of such a great wife and mother. I know Aunt Merleen had a great faith in a loving God and I'm certain she's happily entered in to a wonderful heaven.
