So many memories of my Uncle Lou visiting him and Aunt Betty on the farm. Playing in the barn, being chased by the geese. He always teased all of us kids and had such a gentle spirit, sweet-onery smile with a twinkle in his eye. So many fond memories! You truly will be missed. From one of your many nieces. Dwaine, Terry, and Family
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4) May it be a source of inner strength to know that there's a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He'll stay close by your side.
We as cousins were very fortunate to have your Dad by our sides as we lost our parents.
Fond memories we have of our last Uncle. We can only hope the reunion in heaven of our
loved ones is a celebration of a family reunited.
I can think of many treasured memories but a few would be the last butchering at your
Dad's farm, Aunt Betty and Uncle Lou stopping by to sit on our porch and visit, him
telling me these cookies are good but they are not my favorite ones ( how he loved my
brickle aand date ones), how he enjoyed the wild life and his love of your mother.
A million stars in the heavens some are birghter than others. Maybe those are our
loved ones watching over us as we will continue sharing our love for them and cherish
the memories.
Blessings, Hugs and Love,
Doris, Brandon and Kate

Uncle Lou was another of the kind and loving farm relatives I grew to know and there was the memorable times during summer vacations on Betty & Lou's farm. Different than camping in a tent, was the time Uncle Lou suggested the boys - Dwaine , Terry , Gary and I sleep in the middle of the farmyard on a straw covered hay wagon. Can't help but think uncle Lou was out to make memories for the nephews down from the city . It sure did - thanks Uncle Lou - eternal peace be yours.

I am sorry to hear about the death of Lou. I always enjoyed our visits when he came to the FSA office for business. He was a person you needed to listen to because he had a breadth of common sense knowledge. He also was interested in the other person. Lou will be missed by all of us. My prayers are with Lou's family.

I am so sorry for the loss of what I knew to be a good man. he was the most friendly and giving man I know. when a bunch of cars drive in the drive after dark and I go up to tell them we just wanted to look at the house and he made 3 car loads of Rexroth's come in and invited us back sunday for breakfast! I got to see the upstairs where I was born and my aunts were remembering taking a bath out in a room on the east side and getting dressed to go on dates, etc. we will all remember Lou and Betty.

Terry. Dwaine

So sorry to hear of Lou's passing. He and I had many discussions about farming while I was farming down there. He was very insightful and fun to talk with. I have and will miss him. I am certain that he and Betty are together again and again very happy. You have my deepest condolences, Dean.

Uncle Lou you are now at peace and back with your beloved wife and daughter and all of your brothers and sisters and your father and a mother that you barely knew. I know they were all there waiting to greet you at Heaven's gate. You will always be loved and remembered by those of us left behind. I can still see you standing on the deck of our place at the lake in your beloved bib overalls with your hands inside the bib portion looking up at the tall evergreens there and saying to Tom " Now, Tom, just how the hell tall are those trees". Well, you can ask him again and Helen will be laughing for all of here just like we did then. I will always love you.
Your niece, Judy

I and my 22 cousins grew up with lots of uncles and aunts. Sadly on Saturday we will say good-by to the last sibling of the Julius Glathar family. Uncle Lou was the youngest son and very special to all of us who had lost our own Glathar parent.

My condolences to Lou's family. I was privileged to meet Lou only a couple of times, but I remember him as a strong, gentle, loving man. Gary had fond memories of the times he spent with his Uncle Lou. They are together now and watching over us. You are missed by all. God bless....til we meet again. Judy G.
