Dear Nancy, Donna, and Joann,
I have such fond memories of your mom. With our parents being the best of friends for so many years, they shared many years of Saturday nights, traveling, phone calls, and watching out for each other. Sterling and Lois had a great respect and love for each other. Lois had a witty sense of humor, a kind heart and always a smile. Never a hair out of place and her infamous line of calling everyone "kid", she was a joy to be around. You made your mom and dad proud, they loved their girls!

I am truly saddened by this news. Lois was my Teacher in country grade school and stayed at our home during the school year. I remember Sterling coming to pick her up on a date and the headlights of the car shining in our windows. She was a great Teacher, but also a Great Person and I will miss both her and Sterling for as long as I am allowed to reside on this grand earth our Heavenly Father has provided. My sincere condolences to the family.
