Joan Marie Leach 57, of Tecumseh, passed away August 23, 2016 at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska.
She was born to Edward John and Marie Mabel (Boldig) Leach on October 16, 1958 in Marinette, Wisconsin. She grew up and attended Marinette Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1977.
Joan moved to Tecumseh, Nebraska in 2000 to be with her special friend Bob Epley and worked as a waitress for the Harvest Bowl, Ole’ Dad’s, Frazier’s Café, Tecumseh Central Market and later housekeeping for the Pawnee Manor.
In her spare time Joan enjoyed knitting, drawing, sketching, collecting elephants and was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. Joan loved her pets, both cats and dogs, especially her dog, Gretchen.
She is survived by her sons, Dusten Leach of Green Bay, WI and Austen Leach of Fairbury and brother, Gary Leach of Black Creek, WI.
Joan was preceded in death by her father, Edward in 1988, mother, Marie in 2013, and longtime partner Robert “Bob” Epley.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
