Willa F. (Rickman) Rabstejnek, 88 of Table Rock passed away on February 12, 2018. She was born on April 4, 1929 at Humansville, Missouri, to Charles and Orba (Abbott) Rickman.
The family moved to Nebraska and settled on a farm near Crab Orchard, Nebraska.
Willa attended country school near Crab Orchard and attended Lewiston High School where she graduated. She took normal training at Peru State College. She taught in rural schools in Johnson and Pawnee Counties.
She was united in marriage to Philip Rabstejnek on August 20, 1953. To this union three sons were born, Charles, Rick and Randall. They lived on a farm east of Table Rock. Willa was employed at the Pawnee County Veteran Service Office for 45 years.
Willa was a member of Brown-Hays Unit 289 Legion Auxiliary, VFW 5289, Eastern Star, and the Jolly Workers Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip, son Randy, grandson Aaron; parents Charles and Orba Rickman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Helen Rickman, Lou and Ilene Rickman, Charles (Buzz) and Lois Rickman; brother-in-law, Dave Davison.
Willa is survived by her sons, Charles Rabstejnek and wife Cheryl and Rick Rabstejnek; sister, Mary Lou Davison; grandchildren, Philip and Loni Rabstejnek, Sara Rabstejnek and Adam Lloyd, and Ryan Rabstejnek, great grandchildren, Katie, Rylie, Lucas and Sadie and nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Czech Cemetery, rural Table Rock, Nebraska. Officiating Pastor Howard Blecha. A register book will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City. For those who cannot make it out to the cemetery, family would like to invite them to a time of fellowship and refreshment in the basement of the United Methodist Church in Table Rock, Nebraska.
