Tommy Lee Reiber was born to Benjamin and Ida Harriet (Peek) Reiber on March 20, 1958 in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He grew up in Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1977.
Tommy worked for many years for the Campbell’s Soup Company until it closed and then worked for Wheaton’s in Syracuse. He moved to Lincoln in 2010.
He married Marjorie Mann and they had one son Bryan.
Tommy enjoyed watching westerns, collected hot wheels and loved hanging out with friends and family, telling jokes and stories and making others laugh.
He passed away at Bryan Hospital West in Lincoln, Friday, August 19, 2022 at the age of 64 years.
Tommy is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Jeanna Reiber of Lincoln, grandson Benjamin, step-daughter Tracy Mann of Tecumseh and numerous step-grandchildren, sisters Carolyn Hauptmeier and husband Wayne of Yorba Linda, CA and Linda Kelly and husband Bob of Brock and nieces and nephews, Debbie, Cindy, Mike, Lance, Wade, Jimmy, Shawna, Aaron and Tabitha, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends and best friend David Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Rich and Danny, nephew Scott Reiber, great-niece Carrie Day and sister-in-law Connie Reiber.
Tommy’s wishes were to be cremated.
Public graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Spring Creek Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska with Pastor Hugh Giesbrecht officiating.
