Steven "Steve" Lee Davis

Steven Lee Davis, 51, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on November 14, 1970 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Lawrence “Larry” and Darlene (Burgett) Davis.  He started school in Scotland, South Dakota before moving with his family back to Humboldt, Nebraska.  Steve graduated from Humboldt High School with the class of 1990 and then began working at Humboldt Grain and Flour Company.  Steve enjoyed fishing at the Humboldt Lake Park and also auto racing.  He looked forward to the Richardson County Fair every September.

Steven passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021, at his residence in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of fifty-one years and thirteen days.  He was preceded in death by his mother Darlene (Burgett) Davis, an aunt Carol Davis, uncle Jerry Davis, grandparents: Harold and Margaret Burgett, Lester Sr. and Margaret Davis and step-grandparents Norval and Marvyl Kahl.

Steven is survived by his father Larry Davis and his wife Marlene of Humboldt, NE; brother Donald Davis of Humboldt, NE; step-brothers: James Diller of Dawson, MN; Mark Diller of Madison, MN; aunts and uncles: Richard and Martha Davis of Humboldt, NE; Lester Jr. and Naomi davis of New Mexico and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at the Humboldt Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family’s choice with a later designation.
