Shirley Ann (Hall) Wendt
Obituary
Shirley Ann Wendt was born on October 16, 1935, to Elmer and Olive (Black) Hall on a farm in Trenton, Nebraska. She passed away February 1, 2023 at Johnson County Hospital at the age of 87.
She graduated from Elmwood High School in Elmwood, Nebraska in 1953. Shirley was united in marriage to Marion A. Wendt in 1955. The couple lived on a farm in Unadilla, then moved to a farm in Elmwood. Marion and Shirley moved to Edmond, Oklahoma for the next 13 years before retiring to Tecumseh, Nebraska. They had two children, a son Michael Wendt and a daughter Kristine Wendt.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Kristine Wendt of Oklahoma City, OK, son Michael Wendt and wife Sara of Tecumseh, grandchildren Wesley and Catherine Wendt, brother James Hall and wife Shirley and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Doris Parriott, niece Charmaine Parriot and beloved husband Marion.
A private family burial will follow at a later date.
