Salvador Sanchez Martinez

Salvador Sanchez Martinez, 82, of Tecumseh, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He was born to Jesus and Rosario Cazares Avitia on April 5, 1938 in Durango, Mexico.

He is survived by his wife Hortencia of Tecumseh, children, Javier, Martin, Jamie, Eva, Salvador, Jesus, Dagoberto, Jose Luis and Maria Sanchez, numerous grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. 

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Father Craig Clinch officiating. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2020 at the Wherry Mortuary, 202 N. 3rd Street, Tecumseh, Nebraska with rosary following at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Tecumseh, Nebraska.. 

Interment will be in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.  The graveside service will be radio broadcast and attendees will be able to hear the service while staying in their vehicles due to Covid-19 CDC guidelines.
