Randall "Randy" Wayde Mather

Randall “Randy” Wayde Mather, 60, of Table Rock, Nebraska was born on March 16, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska to Joe and Alyce (Procter) Mather.  He was raised by his mother and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada where he graduated from high school.  In 1998, Randy moved to Omaha, Nebraska and was working at Walmart when he met the love of his life, Wendy.  On June 12, 2000, Randy was united in marriage to Wendy Kreider in Omaha, Nebraska and to this union two children, Mystica and Robert were born.  The couple moved to Table Rock, Nebraska in October of 2003 to raise their family.  Randy worked for Gartner Transport in Tecumseh from August of 2004 until December of 2021 when the company was acquired by J B Hunt Transport. He continued working for J B Hunt Transport driving truck until recently when his health declined.  Randy loved spending time with his family and attending all of their activities.  He enjoyed fishing, skeet shooting with Robbie and watching his favorite team play, the San Francisco 49ers.  

Randy passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the Bryan LGH Medical Center East in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty years, eleven months and twenty-one days. He was preceded in death by his father.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Wendy of Table Rock, NE; children: Mystica Mather of Manhattan, KS; Robert Mather of Table Rock, NE; mother Alyce Mather of Nebraska City, NE; sisters: Cindy Mather of Michigan and Cathy Mather of New Mexico, father-in-law Ernie Reuter of rural Table Rock, NE; brother-in-law Eric Reuter and wife Wendy of Shubert, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska with Howard Blecha officiating. Inurnment will follow services at the Table Rock Cemetery.

Memorials contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
