Phyllis Atkinson Obituary
Phyllis A. Atkinson, 86, formerly of Tecumseh, Nebraska was born on December 2, 1933 in Denver, Colorado to John Joseph and Mary Louise (Redding) Benes. She graduated from high school in Colorado.
Phyllis was united in marriage to James Edward Atkinson in Denver, Colorado. James passed away February 5, 2015 in Kearney, Nebraska. She later married Harold Kirkegard. Phyllis worked as a hospital receptionist and also as a receptionist for state parks.
She passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of eighty-six years, ten months and eleven days.
Phyllis is survived by her sons, Mike Atkinson and Pat Atkinson, daughter, Terri Noll, sister, MaryJane Mitchell and sister-in-law Linda Warren.
At the request of Phyllis, her body will be cremated and private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
