Pamella Rose McCue, 67, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on August 15, 1954 in Anniston, Alabama to Neal and Mabelann (Powell) Driskill. During her younger years, Pam’s family moved to Alaska, then to California and eventually settled in Kansas. She attended Prairie View High School in Lacygne, Kansas where she graduated with the class of 1972. Pam took online classes later in life at Southeast Community College in Beatrice where she studied accounting. On June 7, 1985, Pam was united in marriage to Willie McCue at the First Christian Church in Auburn, Nebraska by Rev. Frank Zimmerman. The couple has resided in Humboldt for the last 22 years.
Pam passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the St. Elizabeth’s Region Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty-seven years, one month and fourteen days. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jenny Koelsch, two infant grandchildren and step-father Max Nelson.
Pam is survived by her loving husband Willie McCue of Humboldt, NE; daughters: Christine Downum and husband Scott of Belton, MO; Denise Koelsch of Humboldt, NE; son John Koelsch of Larned, KS; sisters-in-law: Jan Eickoff and husband Ron of Auburn, NE; Norma Baker of Auburn, NE; Jeri Myers and husband Andy of Lincoln, NE; Linda Trotter of Auburn, NE; an aunt Lara Sampter of Missouri and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Pam’s Life will be held by her family at a later date.
