Michael "Mike" Dean Gyhra

Michael "Mike" Gyhra, 49 of Pawnee City, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Pawnee County Hospital. He was born on August 18, 1970 in Pawnee City to Emmett and Mary (Sperfslage) Gyhra, Sr.  

Mike loved life God and spending time with his family and spent his life dedicated to farming.  Mike always greeted everyone with a hand shake or a hug.  He welcomed everyone with a smile on his face and joy in his heart.  Mike worked hard on the family farm raising crops, kids and livestock alongside his wife Abbi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Sr. and Mary Gyhra and his daughter Brooke.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Abbi, and his children, Case, Alana, Denielle, Ericca, Breonna, Kyle, Austin and Trevor Gyhra, his siblings, Wendy, Emmett Jr, Debbie, Dennis, Anthony, Brenda, Randy, Connie, and Father Richard, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at the Faith Baptist Church in Pawnee City, Nebraska with Pastors Connor Barr and Chris Rohrbaugh officiating.  The service will be live streamed on the Wherry Mortuary/Wherry Monument Facebook page as well as on Mike's funeral home website.  Cremation to follow the service.  Visitation on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Burial of ashes at a later date.
