Matalie (Kittley) Lansdale

Matalie Lansdale, 85, passed away at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Saturday, September 19, 2020.

She was born to Mattison and Ruby Jane (Snow) Kittley on December 11, 1934 in Goldsby, Oklahoma.  She grew up on the farm outside of Purcell, Oklahoma where she attended school.  Matalie later lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  When her health declined, Matalie moved to Nebraska to be closer to her grandchildren and became a resident of Belle Terrace in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  

Matalie enjoyed beauty products, make up and nail care.  She loved doing puzzle books and word searches and crafts at Belle Terrace.  She was a sweet lady and was always interested and engaged in other people's lives.  

She is survived by her sister Linda Davis and husband Larry of Eufaula, OK, grandchildren, Stephanie Bohlmeyer-Morgan and husband Travis of Wymore, Madison Garey and husband Andrew of Lawton, OK, Andrew Morton of SC, Josh Morton of Lexington, OK and Aaron Morton and wife Patricia of Lexington, OK and Natasha Wiechmann-Shea of Beatrice, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and nieces and nephews.  

Matalie was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Joy Ann McGinnis, brothers Claude and Larry Kittley and two infant siblings. 

Matalie will be cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
