Mark Ernest Werntz

Mark Ernest Werntz, 62, of Du Bois, Nebraska was born September 10, 1961, in Los Angeles, California to Melvin Ernest and Patricia Ann (Boucher) Werntz.  He was raised in Walnut, California where he received all of his schooling.  Mark worked as a painter in California for most of his life before moving to Du Bois, Nebraska.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time talking to people.  Mark passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Premier Estates Nursing Home in Pawnee City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of sixty-two years, five months, and ten days.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mark is survived by his brothers: Wade Werntz of Perris, CA; Dennis Werntz of Placentia, CA; nephews: Chad Werntz and his wife Liz of Ontario, CA; Shawn Werntz of Pomona, CA; Kevin Werntz of Pomona, CA; great-nephews: Eric, Isaiah, and J.J. Werntz of Ontario, CA; and a host of California friends.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family's choice with a later designation.
