Marjorie Lucille (Ullman) Dorn

Marjorie Lucille (Ullman) Dorn, 97, passed away on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at her home in Pawnee City, Nebraska.  She was born on October 17, 1925 in Steinauer to Michael and Anna (Klein) Ullman, and graduated from Steinauer High School. 

On January 1, 1948 she married Benhardt J. Dorn at St. Joseph Church in Beatrice.  They lived most of their life on a farm near Burchard where they farmed and raised their children.  Marjorie was an avid gardener until her last days.  Her garden and family were always her priority and very well cared for.  She loved to help things grow. 

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Benhardt and every family member of her generation.  She is survived by her daughters Carolyn (Ken) Dolezal, Bernadette (Leonard) Littlejohn, Sandra (Mike) Kemper, all of Lincoln and son, Randy (Purty) Dorn of Flat Rock, Michigan, nine grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. 

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Rosary recitation at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Burchard. Father Michael Christensen will be officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Burchard, Nebraska.
