Maria Garcia De Rojas

Maria Garcia De Rojas, 71, of Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  She was born to Pedro Garcia Mosica and Antonia Gallegos Izquierdo in Jalisco, Mexico on September 16, 1949.  She attended school in Mexico. 

Maria was married to Juan Rojas Silos on August 15, 1962 in Torreon Coahuila, Mexico and they celebrated 57 years of marriage together.  Maria was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and being with her family and especially loved her grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh. 

Survivors are her husband Juan, children, Isidro Rojas,  Juan Rojas, Petry Rojas, Conchis Rojas, Maria Luisa Rojas, Angeles Rojas, Estela Rojas and Jesus Rojas, and many grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Interment will be in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
