Loren Tupa

Loren Tupa, 90, formerly of rural Humboldt, Nebraska was born on March 25, 1934, in Humboldt, Nebraska to Charles and Mary Alice (Cary) Tupa.  He was raised on the family farm near Humboldt and graduated from Humboldt High School with the class of 1951.  On December 5, 1960, Loren was united in marriage to Eva Davis in Hamburg, Iowa.  The couple made their home on a farm southwest of Humboldt, Nebraska for the majority of their married life together. Loren was a lifelong farmer who continued the family farming operation as the generations did before him. 

Loren passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Waterford at Wilderness Hills care facility in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of ninety years, eight months, and twenty-six days.  He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Eva Elizabeth Tupa.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Humboldt Cemetery in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
