Lois J. Packwood
Lois Jean Packwood was born to Lowell and Betty (Neddenriep) Keedy on February 26, 1949 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She passed away April 24, 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Lois attended her early grade school years in Auburn and Syracuse, Nebraska. Eventually her father’s work with the phone company transferred them to Tecumseh where she continued her high school education. Lois began working at the Hested’s Dime Store in Tecumseh when she was 12 years old.
On March 6, 1965, she was united in marriage to Rex W. Packwood. To this union two daughters were born. The two later divorced.
Lois was a bookkeeper for Slick’s Auto Parts, worked as a clerk for Ben Franklin Variety Store and was the manager of Gas N Shop for many years.
In later years, Lois developed a love of gardening and flower tending. She was also a talented seamstress and cook as well as an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Betty Keedy (Dawson), her grandparents, Albert and Iva Keedy and John and Lydia Neddenriep.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Conner Lesker and husband Michael of New York, New York and Amy Packwood of Tecumseh, three grandsons, Will, Sam and Charlie Conner, siblings, Lynda, Debbie and Lowell Keedy, Jr. and his wife Melinda, nieces, nephews and many friends.
At Lois’ request there will be no service held and a family memorial will be held at a later date.
