Lilly Bell Scott

Lilly Bell Scott, 80, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on January 30, 1941, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Earl and Effie Grace (Houston) Scott.  On December 26, 1958, Lilly was united in marriage to Charlie Fritchie at the East Lincoln Christian Church in Lincoln, Nebraska.  The couple raised their family in Lincoln where Charlie worked as an auto body repair man for most of his life.  Lilly and Charlie moved to Humboldt, Nebraska where they lived together until Charlie’s passing in 2019. 

Lilly passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of eighty years, eleven months, and two days. She is preceded in death by her parents, life partner Charlie Fritchie, brothers, Earl Scott and Ronald Scott and sister Bonnie TeSelle. 

Lilly is survived by her children: Jackie Shaw Twenty Nine Palms, CA; Darrell Fritchie and wife Kathy of Casa Grande, AZ; Lore Wright of Dickson, TN; Leigh O’Neil and husband Gerry of Riverside, CA; Sherri Gies of Humboldt, NE; grandchildren: Christina Reed of Washington, Travis Reed of Clarksville, TN; Karl Fritchie of Casa Grande, AZ; Samantha Fritchie of Casa Grande, AZ; Jason Wright and wife Laura of Upland, CA; Janna Ainsworth and husband Jeremy of Riverside, CA; Jodie Wright of Riverside, CA; Thomas Wright of Riverside, CA; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister Elaine Falgione and husband John of Lincoln, NE; brothers: Larry Scott and wife Connie of Lincoln, NE; Merl Scott and wife Beth of Lincoln, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Lilly’s Life will be held at a later date with inurnment at the Humboldt Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
