Keith Thomas Hippen, 54, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away at UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska on Monday, June 29, 2020. Keith was born to Lorance and Charlene (Lovitt) Hippen February 5, 1966 in Beatrice, Nebraska.
He was baptized into the Lutheran faith at Peace Lutheran Church, Lewiston, Nebraska. He attended Lewiston Consolidated Schools and the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where he was on the cheer squad. Keith was not interested in farming but still enjoyed digging in the dirt in his landscaping and garden service in Omaha, Nebraska most of his adult life. He was always competitive in sports and enjoying playing men's and co-ed volleyball. His computer knowledge and skills were sought out often. This past year Keith resided with his aunt Adelaide Kinghorn who was a mentor and close friend to him.
He was preceded in death by his father Lorance Hippen and his grandparents.
Keith is survived by his mother Charlene Hippen of Lewiston, NE, sister, Kathy Ideus (Duane) of Burchard, NE, brother, Kent Hippen (Yvette) of Virginia, NE, and foster sister, Melissa Julifs (Scott) of Corpus Christi, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
