Kaye Ellen (Willet) Cumro

Kaye Ellen (Willet) Cumro, 68, of Table Rock, NE, passed away on December 15, 2022 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.  Kaye was born on June 7, 1954 to Mervin and Velma Willet in Table Rock.  Kaye graduated from Table Rock High School in 1972.  After high school, Kaye married her fellow classmate Stephen Cumro on August 25, 1973.  They had three children (Matt, Jeff, and Stefanie) and raised their family on the farm just outside of Table Rock.  In addition to helping Steve with the family farm, Kaye served as the secretary at Table Rock-Steinauer High School and later HTRS for 25 years.  Kaye loved quilting, spending time in her garden, crafting, attending cattle sales, drawing and spending time with friends and family.  

Kaye was preceded in death by Mervin Willet (father) and Martin and Ardyce Cumro (in-laws). 

She is is survived by Steve, her loving husband of 49 years; her three children,  Matt (Sally), Jeff (Meredith), and Stefanie Rauner (Chris); her nine grandchildren, Kolbe, Kateri, Casey, and Anthony Cumro; Gavin, Ender, and Tristan Cumro; Ainsley and Jace Rauner; her mother, Velma Willet; brother, Rick Willet (Marcia); sister, Nancy Price (Tom); brother-in-law, Kenny Cumro and brother-in-law Dan Cumro (Tiffini).

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Tiger Pride Activity Center in Table Rock, Nebraska. Please come visit and share memories and celebrate Kaye's life with her family. Memorials contributions may go to the family choice for a later designation.  A private family inurnment will be at the Czech Cemetery, Table Rock, Nebraska at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.wherrymortuary.com. Services entrusted to Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.
