Jason Adam James, 43, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born December 1, 1977 in Omaha, Nebraska, to Denis and Kristine (Binder) James. They lived with Grandmother Beth Binder on the family farm near Table Rock, Nebraska. In his young years, Jason lived in Shenandoah, Iowa and Colorado. In December of 1984, Jason and his mom moved back to the farm in Table Rock and Jason did his elementary years at Table Rock Public Schools. In 1989, Jason, his mom and Grandmother Binder moved from the farm to Omaha. He was there a short time and then moved to Iowa to live with his Dad, stepmother and family for several years. Later, he moved back to Nebraska and lived with his mom in Springfield, Nebraska. In his adult years, Jason lived in Kansas City, Missouri, Las Vegas, Nevada, Springfield, Nebraska, and Spokane, Washington. In May 2014, he moved to Des Moines, Iowa to the home of his Aunt Rachael where he stayed until his death on September 7, 2021. Jason is preceded in death by his mother Kristine James, grandparents Charles and Beth Binder, Claude and Freeda James and an aunt Cynthia James.
He leaves to mourn his passing by his Aunt Rachael Binder of Des Moines, IA; his father Denis James Sr. and wife Jolene of Guthrie Center, IA; a sister Caitlin Gardiner and husband Tyler of Stuart, IA; brothers: Sean James of Guthrie Center, IA; Joseph James and wife Helen of Des Moines, Iowa, and Denis James Jr. and wife Holly of Grimes, IA; friends Matt Kopac of San Diego, California and Michael Wanat of Phoenix, Arizona.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the Table Rock Cemetery in Table Rock, Nebraska.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family with a later designation.
