Janet Lade Goers

Janet (Brock) Lade-Goers was born to Mose and Ella (Manzer) Weston on May 1, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska. She passed away on January 4, 2024 in Lincoln, Nebraska. 

At the age of three, Janet was adopted by Eugene and Mildred Brock from Tecumseh, Nebraska along with her sisters, Joyce and Joanne. In 1958, Janet married Kenneth Lade from Vesta, Nebraska.  Together they had three children, Ricky, Jeffrey and Robyn.  After Kenneth's death, Janet married Donald Goers from Elk Creek, Nebraska and they had one child, Jason.

Janet enjoyed spending time with her sisters, her dogs, and shopping.  She loved Christmas and would go all out for her children and grandchildren during that holiday.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lade, parents, Eugene and Mildred Brock, sister Joanne Grancer and brothers-in-law Jerry Grancer and Harry Boss.

Janet is survived by her sister Joyce Boss, children, Rick (Connie) Lade, Jeff (Mandy) Lade, Robyn Lade and Jason Goers, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Vesta Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska with Pastor Hugh Giesbrecht officiating.   The service was live streamed on the Wherry Mortuary Facebook page.  A link to the livestream is available on the bottom of her webpage as well as here:  https://www.facebook.com/100057240888156/videos/454707770491368.
