James "Jimmy" Kaster

James Roger Kaster was born January 24, 1947 to Clarence and Evelyn (Lade) Kaster in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  He grew up and went to country school near Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1965.  He attended Heating and Air Conditioning Schooling in Omaha and worked for a couple years and then worked at the Campbell’s Soup Company in Tecumseh for 27 years from 1968 until his retirement in 1995.  Jimmy later worked in Liberty for the Searcey Grain Company and assisted local farmers with their operations. 

In his spare time, Jimmy enjoying deer hunting and watching football and visiting with friends.

Jimmy passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at his home in Tecumseh, Nebraska at the age of 72 years.

 He is survived by his brothers, Gary Kaster and wife Carol of Milford, KS, Allen Kaster and wife Millie of Tecumseh, Terry Kaster of Lincoln, Lonnie Kaster and wife Deanna of Tecumseh and Gregory Kaster of Beatrice, sister, Vickie Lempke and husband John of Lincoln, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Evelyn and brother Randy Kaster and wife Linda and nephew, Jesse Kaster.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Tecumseh Cemetery in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Chaplain Richard Bristol officiating. The family requests casual attire.

 A register book will be available for signatures on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 Memorials may go to the family’s choice.

 Inurnment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
