Guadalupe (Pena) Reyes

Guadalupe Pena Reyes, 96, of Tecumseh, passed away at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska on Thursday, September 19, 2019.   She was born to Julio Pena and Maria Cazares on December 22, 1922 in Durango, Mexico. Guadalupe was a loving stay at home mother who took care of her eleven children and grand-children.  From the age of ten, she over the responsibilities of watching over her four siblings and father. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family.

She was united in marriage to Jose Reyes in Durango, Mexico.  Jose passed away in Durango on July 17, 1999.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her husband and three children.

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Father Craig Clinch officiating.

A vigil will be held Friday evening at the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Interment will be in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
