Gregory "Greg" Allen Bottom

Gregory “Greg” Allen Bottom, 53, of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Seneca, Kansas unexpectedly. He was born on July 27, 1969 to Marvin and Armilda (Engles) Bottom.

Greg’s favorite thing to do was fishing.  He would talk about fishing for hours.  He went to the catfish tournaments at the Missouri River and would not miss one.  We are sure this year he will be there helping bait the hooks perfectly with all his different things he made up.  Sometimes he would make some really wild, but effective ones.  We fished a lot of hours.

His other interest was grilling on our back patio.  Greg had three different pellet grills, and charcoal and an electric one.  I kind of thought 5 grills were a lot, but we did not go hungry.  We would grill every night if I would have let him.  His food off the grill was always to perfection.  Greg’s little dog Zoey was his side kick. Greg took great care on keeping up the yard and kept Janette's many animals fed.

Greg married Peggy McGehee on March 2, 1991 in Onaga, Kansas. To this union one son Greg, Jr. was born on January 25, 1992. He adopted Peggy's children from a previous marriage in 1996. Greg married Janette Kimes on October 6, 2018. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Armilda Bottom.

He is survived by his wife Janette of Pawnee City, Nebraska, children, Charlie Bottom of Marysville, KS, Ronnie Snoe of Marysville, KS, Greg Bottom, Jr. of Beattie, KS, step-children, Tina Luedders Foster of League City, TX, Angie Luedders of Pawnee City, NE, Jake Luedders of Soldotna, AK, grandchildren, Gavin Carrillo and Rylee Snoe, brothers, Mike Bottom, Kevin Bottom, sister, Teresa, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Greg's wishes were to be cremated.  There will be a private family service at a later date.  Memorials to family choice. Online condolences may be left at www.wherrymortuary.com.
