Ezekiel David Metschke

Ezekiel David Metschke, infant son of Martin and Dawn (Taylor) Metschke was born at rest on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the Syracuse Community Hospital in Syracuse, Nebraska. 

He is survived by his loving parents, Martin and Dawn, sister Charlotte and brother Noah of Johnson, NE, maternal grandparents, Joe and Josie Taylor of Dawson, NE, aunts, uncles and cousins, Tim Taylor and wife Shelly and their children, Hayley, Zack and Zayda of Wymore, NE, Dave Taylor and wife Stephanie and their children Coralee and Ryman of Franklin, TN, Mike Metschke and wife Gina of Snyder, NE and daughters, Chantal Hawk and husband Michael of Alaska and Amber Metschke, Mark Metschke of Lincoln, NE, Matt Metschke and wife Kari and children, Ally, Abby and Aiden of Elkhorn, NE and Miles Metschke of Tampa, FL. 

Ezekiel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lavon and Barb Metschke.  

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Private family funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Christian Church in Auburn, Nebraska, with Pastor Nate Powell officiating.

Interment will be in the Heim Cemetery, Dawson, Nebraska.
