Elijah "Eli" Allen Marburger

Elijah “Eli” Allen Marburger, age 5 months, 2 weeks, 1 day, died in his mother’s arms at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska on July 23, 2023. After struggling with various neurologic conditions, Eli passed gently into the arms of Jesus. Eli was born February 8, 2023 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He was blessed with two mothers; Andrea Marburger carried him for 37 weeks and 2 days and Shana Marburger who cared for him from birth until his death. During his brief visit on Earth, Eli enjoyed listening to music, being sung to, and snuggling with his parents, grandparents, and siblings. He was loved by all who met him and will leave a huge hole in many people's lives. Eli is preceded in death by his grandmother Susan Marburger and grandfather David Brown. Eli is survived by mother Andrea Marburger; Guardians Kent and Shana Marburger; biological father Bradley Minium; brothers Corbin Thompson, Liam Marburger, Owen Marburger; sisters Arya Marburger, Gracelynn Minium, Addilynn Minium; Grandparents John (Karla) Marburger, Pamela Brown; Aunts and Uncles Brett (Crystal) Marburger, Erica (Mike) Valdez, Clint (Natasha Rogers) Brown, Stacey (Deanna) Kubert; special friends Kirk and Diane Russell and Teagan Southwell; and many other cousins and family friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastor Conner Barr officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 pm at Westside Cemetery outside of Oakland, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 28, 2023, at the Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt.  Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Memorials may go to the family’s choice with a later designation.
