Edwinna L. Jackson

Edwinna La Faye Jackson was born to Johnnie and Cozette (Williamson) Jackson, Jr. on August 26, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She grew up in Arkansas and received her high school degree and then attended the University of Arkansas for two years in their business college. 

Edwinna worked as a kitchen manager for the Holiday Inn in Hot Springs, Arkansas and later for the Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.   She enjoyed being around her mother and just enjoyed life itself. She was raised in the Baptist Church.  In her later years, Edwinna loved to work on puzzles and read books. 

She passed away in Lincoln, Nebraska, Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Edwinna is survived by her mother, Cozette Cross of Tecumseh, brother, Gregory and wife Rhonda Jackson, niece Miracle Jackson, special cousin Edward Williams and other extended relatives.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Jackson, Jr and brother, Bobby Jo Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska with  Hospice Chaplain Doug Delhay officiating.

Visitation will be held at from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska. 

Memorials may go to the family’s choice.
