Doreen Annette Noahr of Pawnee City Nebraska passed away on June 6, 2025 at 5:17 P.M. at a care facility in Beatrice Nebraska. She was 60 years young when she succumbed to her aggressive battle with cancer.
Doreen started life in Conoga Park, California having been born July 24, 1964. She was born to her parents Tom and Erma Murray. Having lived most of her life in Omaha Nebraska, Doreen often spoke fondly of her time growing up being filled with lots of adventures. Doreen moved to Pawnee City after her father passed to help her mother to continue a life of independence. She loved camping and fishing. She enjoyed cooking large meals for anyone who was hungry. Doreen would always joke about not knowing how to cook for small gatherings.
Her other hobbies included crocheting, random road trips, and perhaps her favorite activity of playing card games. Doreen loved company and hated a silent room. She would often start conversations with anyone that would listen. Her laugh filled a room, her smile was contagious, and her love for helping others will be missed the most. Doreen was quick to offer what she had to help even if it wasn't a lot.
She is survived by her sons, Scott, Leo, and Matt Noahr (wife Rebecca), her grandchildren Isaiah, Malachi, Kaiden, and Riley Noahr, siblings Debra Klein (husband Dale), Dana Murray, and Darla Schoville (husband Jerry).
Doreen was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Erma Murray.
