Darla Rae (Bartels) Gottula

Darla Rae Gottula, 86, of rural Tecumseh, passed away November 6, 2022 at Premier Estates in Pawnee City, Nebraska.    

She was born February 19,1936 to Edmund and Katherine (Meyer) Bartels in rural Johnson County, Nebraska.  She was united in marriage to Jerry L. Gottula on August 21, 1959.  

Darla worked for many years as an office clerk for the ASCS office in Tecumseh as well as being a homemaker on the farm.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Gottula of Tecumseh, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Sandra Gottula of Johnson, grandson and wife Joel and Ashley Gottula of Elk Creek and great-grandchildren, Jesse and Laynee Gottula, brother Ron Bartels and wife Roberta of Omaha, numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Janice Howard of Oklahoma.

Darla was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and sister-in-law Marilyn Oestmann. 

Private graveside memorial services will be held at a later date in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Memorials may go to the family’s choice. 

Inurnment will be in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
