Daniel Byron Mackaig, 61, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on February 23, 1961, in Alice, Texas to Milton and Evelyn (Giese) Mackaig. He moved to Humboldt, Nebraska later in life and it was there that he passed away at his home on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his brothers: David Mackaig of Portland, OR; Darrell Mackaig of Oskaloosa, IA; and other relatives and friends.
