Cozette B. Jackson Cross, 84, of Tecumseh, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Center in Auburn, Nebraska. She was born October 17, 1937 to James and Mary (Simmons) Williamson in Little Rock, Arkansas. Cozette graduated from J.C. Cook High School in Wrightsville, Arkansas. Cozette worked as a cook and was a kitchen manager for a restaurant in Kansas City. She always loved cooking for her family. When she retired Cozette and her family moved to Tecumseh, Nebraska and she resided at the Tecumseh Manor.
She is survived by her devoted son Gregory Jackson and wife Rhonda and granddaughter Miracle of Tecumseh, Nebraska, brother James Williamson and sister Christine Bennett and husband Thomas and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Cozette was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Johnnie Jackson and James Cross, son Bobby Joe Jackson and daughter Edwinna Jackson.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Good Samaritan Center for the loving care they provided for Cozette during her time there.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Pastor Hugh Giesbrecht officiating. The service will be live steamed on the Wherry Mortuary/Wherry Monument Facebook page and a link to the livestream is also available on the bottom of Cozette's webpage.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska.
