Carol Elaine Barcomb

Carol Elaine Barcomb (Dingwell), 81 of Belton Missouri passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022, in Belton Missouri.  Carol was born October 5, 1940, to Merle Marie Dingwell (Gartner) and Samuel William Dingwell of Burchard Nebraska.  Carol graduated from Burchard High School and went on to work in the Nebraska State Capital and Bendix / Honeywell in Kansas City Missouri, where she retired after 20 years of service.

After retirement, Carol enjoyed serving in the PTA, PTA council and volunteering at the Cass County Library. Carol enjoyed attending her granddaughter’s softball, soccer, volleyball games, and band events.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert Joseph Barcomb of Belton Missouri, son Bryan William Barcomb and wife Candy, daughter Lynn Dyan Barcomb, granddaughters Nicole Gaines, Samantha Vail (Barcomb) Grass and husband Jon, Alicia Alex (Barcomb) Somarriba and husband Franck, great grandchildren, Colton Knox Grass and Jaxson McCoy Grass.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday June 18, 2022, at Wherry Mortuary Chapel in Pawnee City Nebraska.   Officiating Pastor Howard Blecha.  Visitation will be held one hour before services on Saturday.

Memorials may go to the family's choice. 

Interment will be in the Burchard Cemetery, rural Burchard, Nebraska.
