Angela Rae (McGinnis) Neukirch

Angela Rae Neukirch, 40, Steinauer, passed away unexpectedly at her home, Saturday, September 12, 2020. She was born to Douglas Jenson and Mary McGinnis on July 24, 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska. Angie grew up in Dawson with her mother, Mary; stepfather, Eric; sister, Ariel; brother, Andrew and lifelong friend Natisha Radley.  She enjoyed her visits with her father Doug and step siblings in Omaha. 

Angie graduated from Dawson-Verdon High School with the class of 1999.   She was united in marriage to Mark Neukirch in Las Vegas, NV in 2012.  Angie was a CNA at Belle Terrace in Tecumseh.  She was a compassionate caregiver who was an advocate for her patients.  She was known for her huge heart.  In her spare time, Angie enjoyed camping, boating, and riding along with Mark in his semi.  She loved animals, art projects and family.  Angie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  

Angie is survived by her husband Mark Neukirch of Steinauer, son Greg McGinnis of Steinauer, father Doug Jenson and life partner Sheryl Ziegler of Fremont, step-children, Elizabeth Miller and husband Trent of St. Edward, Tiffany Neukirch of Syracuse, Brittany Neukirch of Syracuse and Nate Neukirch of Tecumseh, step-father, Eric Linville of Omaha, siblings, Andrew Linville of Falls City, Ariel Linville of Lincoln and Amy Fiegenschuh Wagner, step-siblings, Jessica Yandell and husband Justin of Romance, AR, Amanda Landholm and husband Christopher of Omaha, Kristen Ziegler of Gretna and Bradley Ziegler of Underwood, IA, parents-in-law, Gary and Deb Neukirch of Tecumseh and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother Mary (McGinnis) Linville.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Salem United Church of Christ, rural Steinauer, Nebraska, 71693 617 Avenue, with Pastor Eric Biehl officiating. The service will also be live streamed on the Wherry Mortuary/Wherry Monument Facebook page for those unable to attend in person. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  

Inurnment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Dawson, Nebraska. 

Memorials may go to the family's choice.
