Paul E. Spors

  Paul Edwin Spors was born March 25, 1982 to Jonathan and Margaret (Coats) Spors in La Crosse, Wisconsin. 

  He played the tuba in school and also enjoyed playing basketball.  Paul graduated from Covington High School in 2000 and later received his bachelors degree from Ball State University in 2005.  Paul always treated people with love and kindness and was always willing to help others, no matter what. 

  Paul was united in marriage to Katy Lynn Hine in Zionsville, Indiana.  She passed away March 11, 2010 in Lansing, Michigan. He married Rebecca Klepper on September 17, 2011 in Lansing, Michigan.  They moved to Tecumseh, Nebraska in 2015. 

 Paul was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the 1st Counselor Elders Quorum.  Paul was a jack of all trades. No job was beneath him to provide for his family.  His favorite jobs were in food service because he loved helping others.  His hobbies included gardening, football, (he was huge Indianapolis Colts fan), basketball, helping people through church and he loved going to the Temple. 

  Paul passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 in Tecumseh at the age of 35 years.  

  He is survived by his wife, children, Evan Duane and Katy Jenny, step-daughters, Amy and Annabelle Butters, parents, Jonathan and Margaret, siblings, Jenny Hill and husband Chris, Tom Spors and wife Jenny, David Spors and Michael Spors, grandparents, Patricia and Bob Coats, nieces, Haighleigh Phelps, Hannah Phelps, Peyton Spors and Emma Spors, nephews, Aidyn Spors and August and Gabe Hill, other relatives and friends.

  Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Katy Lynn, grandparents, Edwin "Pete" and Ione Spors and uncle Stephen Coats.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 320 N. 26th Street in Beatrice, Nebraska.  There will be viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.

 Pallbearers are Tom Spors, Michael Spors, Chris Hill, Eric Coats, Ben Bobo and Derek Palmer.
