Nola Emma (Heuppelsheuser) Rinne

Nola E. (Heuppelsheuser) Rinne, 97, of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Pawnee City Assisted Living. She was born to Herman and Elsie (Meyer) Heuppelsheuser on August 22, 1922 in Seneca, Kansas, along with her twin sister Nila.

Nola grew up in the country around Seneca, Kansas area.  She went to country school and said that she walked or rode her horse to school.

In 1942 she married Everett Rinne in Pawnee County, Nebraska. To this union two children were born.

Nola loved to garden and loved her flowers. She enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and milking cows. Nola was a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ, Bern, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett, brother, Norman Heuppelsheuser and sisters, Delores Hartung and Lula Weitzel.

Nola is survived by her children, Larry (Jeanne) Rinne of Pawnee City, NE, Diana Rinne of Lincoln, NE, 5 granddaughters, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and twin sister Nila Marteney of Seneca, KS.

Funeral Services 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Officiating Reverend Bob Colerick. Visitation on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from Noon to 8:00 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City.  Interment at the Friedens U.C.C.
