Nicholas "Nick" Thiemann

Nicholas "Nick" Clair Thiemann, 36, of Tecumseh, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. He was born on February 6, 1982 to Danny and Diana (Gyhra) Thiemann, in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Nick attended Southern Elementary in Blue Springs, Lewiston Consolidated and Fairbury Public schools.  As a child he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad and playing basketball, football and baseball.  As he got older, he enjoyed four wheeling, searching for Native America artifacts, working on cars, trucks, and tinkering in the garage.  He worked on a pipeline project in Minnesota and later became a carpenter and jack of all trades.  He has 2 children, Shaylie Rose and Brantley Nox Thiemann.  He loved his children and step children. 

He is survived by his mother, Diana Thiemann and her fiance' Doug Frohberg of Tecumseh, children, Shaylie Rose Thiemann of Tecumseh,  Brantley Nox Thiemann of Tecumseh,  fiance' Emily Oenbring of Tecumseh,  Emily’s children, Chayce, Kenzie, Abby Oenbring of Tecumseh, sister, Jessica Schwerin (Matt) Aitkin, MN, twin sister, Nicole Thiemann of Fairbury, brother, Mitch Thiemann of Adams, grandparents, Helen Gyhra of Steinauer, and Darrell and Donna Thiemann of Pawnee City.  He had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Danny Thiemann, grandfather, Joseph Gyhra, and aunt Dee Fritch.

Mass of Christian Burial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Steinauer, Nebraska with Father Michael Christensen officiating.

Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City, Nebraska, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m.  Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to family's choice.

Private family inurnment will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Steinauer, Nebraska at a later date.
