Lloyd R Stepan

Lloyd R. Stepan, 87, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Sumner Place, Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born on February 16, 1932 in Table Rock to Henry and Adeline (Kouba) Stepan.  In his younger years, Lloyd farmed with his dad in Pawnee County, before beginning his 36 year-long career in 1964 with the Pawnee County Roads Department as a Motor Grader.  He married Viola Roschewski on January 1, 2005 and they lived in Lewiston. Lloyd was an avid gardener and loved raising water lilies.  He was also a very talented woodworker, often depicting farm equipment he used as a boy.

He was preceded in death by his wife Viola, step-son, Michael Roschewski; step-daughter-in-law, Sheila Roschewski; parents Henry and Adeline; step-father, Nello (Bud) Parker; and step-siblings, Ivan Parker and Carlene Thompson.

He is survived by his step-children, David Roschewski of Breckenridge, TX, Vickie McKown of Calhoun, GA, Julie Robertson and husband Tim of Durango, CO, step-daughter-in-law, Shirley Roschewski of Virginia, NE; 10 step-grandchildren, 19 step-great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial services 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Officiating Pastor Howard Blecha. A family prayer will be at 1:45 just before the service.  No visitation, but a register book will be available for signing on Monday, July 18, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Wherry Mortuary.
