Leon Carl Poskochil

Leon Carl Poskochil, 75, of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on March 2, 2018 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He was born on June 19, 1942 to James and Laura (Rasmussen) Poskochil in rural Gibbon, Nebraska. He graduated from Cortland High School.

Leon was married to Donna Rasmussen until her death in 1996.

Leon worked as a sheet rock hanger for many years in Lincoln, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Laura Poskochil,  wife, Donna (Rasmussen) Poskochil, brothers, Terry and Harlan, niece Kerri (Hartwig) Spilker, great nephew, Devin Spilker and nephew, Lucas Scheffert.

Leon is survived by his siblings, Carol Hartwig and husband Harvey of Cortland, NE, Sharon Schmidt and husband Dallas of Naples, FL, G. Dean Poskochil and wife Olivia of Pawnee City, NE, Shirley Wismer and husband Roger of Lebanon, OH, Rodney Poskochil and wife Leigh of Lincoln, NE, Pamela Poskochil and husband Pat Hulsebusch of Pawnee City, NE, Michael Poskochil and wife Mary of Lincoln NE, Dennis Poskochil and wife Jody of Pawnee City, NE, Linda Scheffert and husband Russell of Lincoln, NE, Shelley Witt and husband Michael of Phoenix, AZ, sister-in-law, Diana Poskochil of Bennet, NE and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Inurnment of the cremains will be at a later date at the Laurel Cemetery, Laurel, Nebraska.
