Kevin Lee Conradt

Kevin Lee Conradt was born April 3, 1963 to Clifford and Ruth (Badertscher) Conradt in Tecumseh, Nebraska. He was baptized on May 5, 1963 and confirmed October 28, 1979 at the United Methodist Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  As a young man, Kevin enjoyed tinkering and early mechanics such as assembling and re-assembling bicycles and putting together model cars and trucks. Kevin loved to ride bicycles with friends and family, and collecting match box cars and trucks.  When he grew older he enjoyed 18 wheelers.   

Kevin was member of the Tecumseh Volunteer Fire Department for around 10 years. He worked for the Johnson County Shop for nearly 30 years.  In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed bowling for several years on a league and fishing and camping.  He was very proud of catching his 10 lb. catfish.   Kevin attended many NASCAR races with his younger brother, Kurt and was a big Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. 

He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tecumseh on January 22, 2018 at the age of 54 years. 

He is survived by his mother, Ruth E. Bray and significant other, Donald L. Othmer of Tecumseh, sister, Kristine A. Loeck and significant other, James E. Gilley of Baldwin City, KS, brother, Kurt L. Conradt of Lincoln, niece, Brianna K.D. Loeck and fiance’ Kip Matoush of Lincoln, step-mother, Karen E.Conradt of Tecumseh, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Clifford L. Conradt and his grandparents.                 

 Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (Maple Grove), rural Tecumseh, Nebraska with Pastor Eric Biehl and Pastor Rob Clark officiating.

 Visitation will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

 Memorials in lieu of flowers may go to the family’s choice.

 Inurnment will be in the St. Paul’s U.C.C. (Maple Grove) Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska.
