Gary Lee McDonald was born to Glen and Esther (Wanrow) McDonald on July 2, 1941.   He attended elementary school at Bratton Union and junior high and high school at Table Rock Public Schools.

Gary was united in marriage to Bonnie Hanna on July 11, 1959 at Pawnee City, Nebraska by Rev. Wallace. To this union four sons were born. Gary worked for the locker in Table Rock and later he went to Lincoln and got a job at Automatic Electric working for the telephone industry. He and Bonnie moved back east for awhile and then returned to Nebraska and started their family living in Table Rock and later moving to Tecumseh.

Gary worked in four different states working in power plants and doing high voltage electrical work, for the City of Tecumseh Board of Public Works and then started his own business McDonald Electric, Heating and Plumbing.  He serviced all the Searcey Grain elevators, Campbell Soup Company and Tecumseh Public Schools. Gary passed on to his sons many tools of the trade that he knew.  Gary was a member of the Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Tecumseh Airport Board and Tecumseh Utilities Board. In his spare time Gary loved painting pictures, golfing, flying model airplanes and collecting guns.

When his health declined, Gary retired and later became a resident of Good Samaritan in Auburn.  He passed away there May 2, 2018 at the age of 76 years.
