Alvin Eugene "Gene" Gardner, 78, of Cook, passed away April 23, 2024 at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born to Charles and Mildred (Van Winkle) Gardner, Sr. on June 27, 1945 in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Rev. Jim Helgren officiating.

Memorials may go to the family's choice.

Inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Sheridan West Cemetery, rural Auburn, Nebraska.
