I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Vanes' passing. He was such a good man. I can think of absolutely nothing negative to say about him -- only positive things. He was kind, thoughtful of others, a good listener, a faithful Christian and a devoted family-man. I am thinking and praying for Joyce and my cousins as they mourn life without him; his absence is sure to leave a void in many lives! Love to all my Nebraska kin.

With deepest sympathy to the Vanes Moerer family, as I remember working with Vanes at the O.A. Cooper company in Humboldt, when I worked in the invoicing/billing dept. under Jesse Korber in the early 1970's. He always had a smile on his face & willingness to help others...Cherish your memories!

Our deepest sympathies to the entire family on Vanes' passing. Even though I only worked with Vanes for one year, forty years ago, he is a man I have held in high regard ever since. A wonderful, caring, giving, genuine man. You'll be in our prayers.

Vanes will be missed by so many of us, but never forgotten. He gave so much of his many talents and time to the community including many organizations and his church. His smile and laughter was infectious and he was always there to lend a hand to those who needed it. I so enjoyed talking with him at the lakes when he would drive through to observe the wildlife and the beauty of nature. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. In all God's love, your sister in Christ, Cindy Burow.
