Ruth Pauline (Harness) Snook

    Ruth Pauline (Harness) Snook was born November 1, 1931 in Humboldt, Nebraska. She was called by the Lord on April 22, 2017. On December 19, 1949, Ruth was married to Billy Lee Snook in Hiawatha, KS, a marriage that would last 32 years.  They moved to the Table Rock area in 1951. Ruth worked at Campbell’s Soup in Tecumseh for 24 years before retiring in 1992. In her early years, she enjoyed working on the farm, bird and deer hunting, gardening, needlework, and canning. Ruth was also an avid bowler and Husker football fan. Ruth’s greatest passion was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Rosa Harness, husband, Billy Lee Snook, son, Timothy Lynn Snook, sisters, Eva Fry and Alice St. Pierre, brother, Edward Harness, and life partner, Arlie Phillips.

   Ruth is survived by daughter Mary Hawkins and husband Wes, granddaughter Latonia Fetters and husband Justin, great-granddaughter Lynnlee, granddaughter Melissa Smith and husband Ryan, great-granddaughter Addison and great-grandson Tyler, granddaughter Anita Wood and husband Aaron, great-granddaughter Eloise, daughter Kathleen Graham, granddaughter Tammie Hart, great-granddaughters Britnee and Hannah, granddaughter Jodie Jones and husband Jason, great-granddaughters Bailee, Morgan, Sierra, Emma and Tayla and great-grandsons Charlie and Caleb, daughter-in-law Sharon Snook and granddaughters Ashley and Kelly, along with close family and friends, Robert and Judy Phillips, Melissa and Oswaldo Tellez, Jordan and Tate Hoy, Brandy and Carlos Tellez, Brooklynn, Kaelinn, Carlos, and Taytum, Mike Phillips, Lori Phillips, Sarah and David Guerrero, Lorenzo and Venice, Chance, Leticia, Owen, Logen Phillips and Jesse Goodpasture, Rylan and Arinna Lynn Phillips, Patricia Packett and Dave Flies, Elise, Moaner and Anzel DuPreez, Courtney Bailey, Keygan and Bryson, Layton Sullwold, Billi Jo Packett, Joshua Packett, Autum, Xander, Rylee, and Brenden, Jr., Janet and Jon Doty, Chris Payton and Elijah Doty, and Stephanie Doty.

       The family takes solace in knowing that Ruth has been reunited with her loved ones that went before her and now rests in the loving arms of our Lord. 

  Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Table Rock Cemetery in Table Rock, Nebraska with Rev. Curtis Rieger officiating.

   Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Friday, May 5, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

   Memorials may go to the family’s choice.

    Inurnment will be in the Table Rock Cemetery, Table Rock, Nebraska.
