Robert James Roth Jr.

Robert James Roth Jr., 70, of Table Rock, Nebraska was born on November 21, 1946 in Malcolm, Nebraska to Robert James and Verna (Casement) Roth.  He was raised in Malcolm where he attended grade school.  Rob later graduated from Malcolm High School with the class of 1965.  While in high school, Rob participated in football for two years.

Rob moved to the Table Rock area where he farmed with his brother Roland.  He also worked for the Schilling Elevator in Pawnee City.  Rob was a member of the Pawnee City Jaycees and served for many years on the Pawnee County Fair Board.

Rob passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016, at his home in Table Rock, Nebraska having reached the age of seventy years, one month, and five days.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sandra Rasco and Bobbette (Don) Bailey.

Rob is survived by his brother Roland “Rollie” Roth of Humboldt, NE; a sister Sharon Gray and her husband Elvin of Hopkens, MO; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at The Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating.

Inurnment will be at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
